THE START

Solutions Skin and Health Clinic was first opened in September 1996 BY SHARON HOLLAND a new mum, already practising beauty therapy from home and in her 2nd year of natural medicine studies. The two just seemed to meld together because we believe you can't have beauty without health. The business quickly grew out of the private salon at home due to the dedication to a high level of, not only service, but care in every treatment.

Solutions Skin and Health Clinic moved into its new premises in 2001. It now employs many staff all of whom are passionate and are all highly qualified with ongoing training to ensure you get the best treatment available.

In the booming times of Natural Medicine and Day Spas there are many unqualified operators wanting to ‘cash in’ on current trends.  To us, this is not a trend but the answer to an improved life – physically, spiritually and emotionally.

Our skin experts can create your own personal prescriptive blend, so that even your waxing treatment, lash tint or manicure will soothe and relax you. A paramedical range of products is also used to reduce hair growth, lengthen lashes or prevent ingrown hair.

PARAMEDICAL SKIN TREATMENTS

Solutions Skin and Health Clinic is the premier facility for non-invasive treatments and procedures. Keeping at the forefront of the newest and most advanced technology for the maintenance, enhancement and rejuvenation of your skin. Our experienced and highly trained staff treat active acne, photo-aging/pigmentation and scarring; and perform laser hair removal, red vein and capillary treatment.  Microdermabrasion, non chemical peels & medical strength skin care products are utilised so you get great results..... without surgery!

Our qualified and experienced Naturopath will provide you with a series of health solutions, based on corrective lifestyle habits, vitamins, minerals or herbal supplements. Sharon is an experienced Naturopath helping you with all aspects of your health and wellbeing and is committed to working with your other health care professionals to achieve the best outcome possible for you. This can involve many hours of work to correlate all results and tests.

Mardi Burns is Naturopathic Clinician with an Advance Diploma health science CMA registered and an Emmett body work practitioner who has worked alongside Sharon in many specialist capacities for over 18 years.

Your initial appointment includes consultation to evaluate your individual health risks, collection and analysis of results and a program designed to give you the opportunity to boost your overall health and wellbeing.  This appointment may vary from 45 minutes to 1 hour, if you have an existing illness a 1 hour appointment is required.

Testing on the day of your initial consultation may consist of the following:

• Personal Consultation

• Functional testing
• Zinc analysis
• Blood pressure
• Blood sugar
• Heavy metal load (urinary)
• Urinary markers (glucose, ketones, white cell protein etc)
• Lung function/peak flow
